Great to see you post after a long break!
...Hi MD,

Great to see you post after a long break!

Very interesting passage by a very interesting man.

I posted a very similar concept on my blog a while back, but that was rooted in ACIM.

I am particularly focusing on the last part of what he's saying - 'your concept of freedom...phantom experience'.

Not sure, but perhaps he is talking along the lines of Advaita Vedanta, that very bluntly states that there is no freewill in human life.

(This kind of a perspective need not be defeatist in my opinion.)

For example, the Advaita Vedantic scholar Ramesh Balsekar, a contemporary, controversial Advaita Vedantic scholar. He stresses on this all the time. Among other controversial concepts.Vikram Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07743637404053398793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5286532346380215125.post-41937281098438283432010-09-08T05:26:54.493-07:002010-09-08T05:26:54.493-07:00"When I date younger men...I have sex with yo..."When I date younger men...I have sex with younger men".

The way she says it, it almost sounds like she beats them up black and blue. Yikes!

I disagree with her views on the cohf experience. She doesn't understand the male mind at all. She's just biased. She's got too many sexual hangups. Its very obvious to me that her personal weakness and (neurotic) obsession is the cohf experience.

In my view, her thought process is a mixture of a huge amount of hypocrisy, dishonesty, bias, too many half baked concepts, and well, some actual truths.Vikram Madanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07746619910081518146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5286532346380215125.post-88506800985030773432010-08-21T10:29:05.605-07:002010-08-21T10:29:05.605-07:00Hi MD,

Its titled 'BEAST NATURE'.

It makes sense that infidelity is not at all connected to whether the marriage is a happy or unhappy one.

Infidelity can be explained by one simple phrase -- "Beast Nature".

The urge for promiscuity, infidelity, group sex, etc is very natural and not a disease. I'm convinced of this totally.

I am neither against promiscuity etc, nor in favour of such things. To each his own.

BUT...

The central question that's been boggling my mind is...

How can the feeling that "50 people have been intimate with me" be a good, healthy feeling?

It sounds like a one way ticket to losing one's sanity. Because promiscuity entails a total loss of body/mind/emotional integrity.

Which is in perfect tune with my understanding of beast nature, actually.

Because "Beast Nature" is the realm of madness. (I'm referring to the natural phenomenon 'madness' - no reference to any mental 'disease' here.)

The above issues apply equally to both males and females, of course.Vikram Madanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07746619910081518146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5286532346380215125.post-28980997943715440332010-04-20T17:01:53.611-07:002010-04-20T17:01:53.611-07:00What a great blog.
